The Sound of Vermont: The Von Trapp Family in 2016

The Von Trapps, made famous in The Sound of Music, fled Austria in 1938, 11 years after Maria married Georg. They bought a farm in the mountains of Stowe, Vermont, where they have maintained a lodge since their arrival in the United States. The lodge is now overseen by the tenth and youngest Von Trapp child, Johannes, now 74.
