Jim DiEugenio, with a forward by Oliver Stone, dissects the farce that was the Tom Hanks mini-series “Parkland,” which was based upon the travesty of a tome that was Vincent Bugliosi’s “Reclaiming History.” DiEugenio, with his trademark encyclopedic knowledge of the Kennedy assassination, not only breaks down the massive errors that led to the Bugliosi and Hanks works, he also illustrates how the CIA influences Hollywood projects today. Lest you think this work is simply about those two projects, it is not. DiEugenio also skillfully examines Bugliosi and Hanks (the personalities) in a way that will be familiar to those who listen to his appearances on Len Osanic’s “Black Op Radio.” DiEugenio is as fascinating to read as he is in his lectures and appearances, and this work should not be missed.
NOTE: Jim DiEugenio will be joining S.T. Patrick on the Midnight Writer News Show in June. Stay tuned and keep listening! As always, you can send questions to [email protected]. We will try to ask as many as we can on the show.
