It’s a shame to learn that Walt Brown suffers from TDS. His blind hatred allows him to spew the “Trump puts kids in cages” nonsense (“I can’t vote for someone who is for abortion… Could you vote for someone who puts kids in cages?”) without acknowledging that the “cages” are an Obama-era invention is a sign that he isn’t intellectually honest.
If you are going to discuss the current state of politics on this show, you need to be prepared to push back. Facts matter. People listen to this podcast for an honest assessment of historical events without the MSM spin. Walt Brown clearly has swallowed the MSM talking points and he has an agenda. If he cannot assess the current political climate without emotion and bias, how can anyone take any of his work seriously?

Thanks for the comment. I do believe in honest assessments, yes, but I also don’t believe in editing the guests. I asked Walt what he thought of today’s climate (in general) when compared to his admiration for JFK, which I thought was a legit question. The answer was going to be political. I wouldn’t have edited it if it would have been anti-Biden or anti-Trump. Walt has been very kind to the show, its host, and the journal. He’s always said “yes” to everything asked of him. I appreciate that immensely. This is a weird world right now. I agree with some people, but I disagree with many more. Personally, I like peace and I like solutions and understanding. But as a free speech absolutist, I also air and publish a variety of opinions, and I think we should respect that. Thank you. — S.T.

>kids in cages
There was a legitimate reason to detain them: unscrupulous types were using kids as props because it was assumed (probably correctly) that families were more likely to be granted asylum — so they wanted to do genetic testing to verify a family relationship before returning the kids to their ‘parents’.
Many Somali refugees came to the US — family reunification (chain migration) had to be halted for them due to widespread fraud — it was only resumed after making genetic testing (at taxpayer expense of course) to verify a family relationship mandatory.

Well, hopefully Mr. Brown sticks to Kennedy assassination conspiracies. He’s not much for politics unless it’s CNN.
