Author John Potash (Drugs As Weapons Against Us: The CIA’s Murderous Targeting of SDS, Panthers, Hendrix, Lennon, Cobain, Tupac, and Activists) joins S.T. Patrick to discuss the history and modern uses of drugs as weapons by the CIA. Potash also covers the MK-Ultra program, the death of Bob Marley, the JFK assassination, the assassinations of RFK, MLK, and Malcolm X, as well as attacks on activists groups such as the Weathermen and the Black Panthers. John Potash can be read at DrugsAsWeapons.com. Don’t miss episode 006 of the Midnight Writer News Show!

[We apologize, but it seems like the first question did not get recorded. We asked John to trace the origin of the CIA drug trade in America. His answer appears, our question does not.]

That was a great podcast S.T.. I think I may have heard a dissertation not unlike the final thought a few times over the years. Culture the final frontier… Perhaps a course on the influences of popular culture would not be a bad idea. If your audience truly wishes to challenge their own thinking and beliefs I think it would be a smashing success. Until next time my friend.

That was a great show S.T. .I think that I may have heard a dissertation not unlike your final thought a time or two. If your audience truly wants to challenge their own thinking I believe that a podcast on the influences of popular culture would be a smashing success. You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work and keep the faith.
